ROCKERs Post-All Saints Day Celebration in the news!

From ROCKERs’ coordinator Teachermama Tina:

I was supposed to post this earlier but forgot to! Anyway, the ROCKERs Post-All Saints’ Day party yesterday was a success, thank You Lord and to all the parents and kids who participated. Incidentally, a news article about the party came out LAST week on CBCP for Life’s website (here) and was picked up a few days later by CBCP News (here). I was also privileged to share about ROCKERs, Catholic parenting and homeschooling on Radyo Veritas last Sunday.

Anyway, yesterday’s event went well, and the preparations paid off especially at the sight of the little saints all together! (I will post about in detail soon on my blog and here as well).

(More photos here).

THE NEXT ROCKERS’ ACTIVITY IS ON NOVEMBER 10, SATURDAY, 9AM-11AM AT THE MEDELA HOUSE. We will be having an Advent activity for families. 😉 More details soon!

God bless everyone!

Lorenzo Ruiz is the first Filipino saint. He is also the first Filipino martyred for the Christian Faith. Lorenzo Ruiz was a layman, married, and had two sons and a daughter. Born in Binondo, Manila, about 1600’s, he was educated in the school of the Dominicans there. He served as an altar boy and later was a helper and clerk-sacristan in the church of Binondo. He was a member of the Confraternity of the Rosary.
